Clinton G Hobbs

Clint Hobbs is an accomplished enrollment management practitioner, with a career in higher education spanning more than 33 years. In addition to serving as a consultant with Williams & Company, he recently served as the Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management at Wesleyan College, a private liberal arts institution for women located in Macon, Georgia. While at Wesleyan, Clint successfully developed and executed a strategic enrollment plan that, from 2018 to 2022 produced five of the largest first-year classes to ever enroll at Wesleyan. In 2018, the first-year class size increased 115% from the previous year and became the largest first-year class to enroll at Wesleyan in 35 years and the second largest class to ever enroll at Wesleyan. Clint also served as Vice President for Enrollment Management and External Relations at Young Harris College in Georgia, where he worked for 27 years. He served interim stints leading the enrollment efforts at two Williams & Company client institutions - York College of Pennsylvania and Benedictine University (IL).

A frequent presenter at state and regional conferences, and active in many professional organizations, Clint served as President of the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (GACRAO) in 2010 and earned the Registered Enrollment Professional (REP) endorsement from the organization in 2007. In 2016, GACRAO honored Clint with the Carol Nobles Distinguished Service Award. Since 2015, Clint has served as the Executive Director of the PROBE College Fair Tour, which schedules and promotes more than 75 college fairs throughout the state of Georgia each year.

Clint has worked as an enrollment consultant with Williams & Company for the past 10 years and has most recently consulted with Oak Point University (IL), Goucher College (MD), Mercer University School of Law (GA), Wartburg College (IA), and Aiken Technical College (SC). He holds a master's degree in higher education and a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Georgia, and resides in Young Harris, Georgia.
